Dr. Nicole Rogus-Pulia PhD, CCC-SLP, was the UW Department of Medicine Grand Rounds presenter on February 24th, 2023. During her presentation, she discussed the age-related changes in swallowing, an overview of dysphagia and its consequences, some possible intervention options, as well as some of the differences between reactive versus proactive approaches.
